Our Education Response

There are currently 3.9 million Ukrainian refugees who have fled Ukraine since the war started.

Half of them are children.

This war has devastating consequences on children’s basic needs including access to education. Education must be part of the humanitarian response - to provide as much continuity as possible and promote psychosocial support and well-being.
The Breteau Foundation is developing an educational response to support Ukrainian refugee children. We are looking for local partners to work with us in the distribution of academic booklets (translated to Ukrainian) and BF stationery packs to displaced children across Ukraine and neighbouring countries. We are also seeking corporate partners to support us in sourcing tablets for Ukrainian children. If you are a local NGO working with displaced children from Ukraine or a corporate seeking to support Ukrainian children's education, please contact us at [email protected].
