Our Education Response
There are currently 3.9 million Ukrainian refugees who have fled Ukraine since the war started. Half of them are children.
This war has devastating consequences on children’s basic needs including access to education. Education must be part of the humanitarian response - to provide as much continuity as possible and promote psychosocial support and well-being.
The Breteau Foundation is developing an educational response to support Ukrainian refugee children. We are looking for local partners to support us with the distribution of our academic booklets (translated to Ukrainian) and BF stationery packs to displaced children across Ukraine and neighbouring countries. If you are a local NGO working with displaced children from Ukraine in need of education, please contact us at [email protected].
