BF STEAM WORKSHOPS

Our STEAM workshops are designed to be delivered either in schools or at home and come with a facilitator’s guide. They are best suited to children Primary four and above but we encourage teachers and parents/caregivers to adapt our learning resources to best suit their child at any developmental level.

We currently offer workshops in developing STEAM environmental solutions and computational thinking. Our workshops encourage children to apply key skills in STEAM methodology such as problem solving, creativity, critical thinking and communication.

Environmental STEAM workshop

With the Environmental STEAM workshop children will go on a journey using real-world knowledge and experiences to develop a solution to reduce pollution production in our homes. At the end of the 5 sessions, children will have had the opportunity to apply key skills in the STEAM methodology such as problem solving, creativity, critical thinking and communication.

Computational Thinking Steam Workshop

The Steam computational Thinking workshops is designed for primary and middle school students to help them develop computational thinking skills. At the end of the 5 sessions, children will have had the opportunity to apply key skills such as: abstraction of information, understanding of written algorithms for problem solving, pattern recognition, solution presentation (prototyping tips.)
