BF STEAM WORKSHOPS
Our STEAM workshops are designed to be delivered either in schools or at home and come with a facilitator’s guide. They are best suited to children Primary four and above but we encourage teachers and parents/caregivers to adapt our learning resources to best suit their child at any developmental level.
We currently offer workshops in developing STEAM environmental solutions and computational thinking. Our workshops encourage children to apply key skills in STEAM methodology such as problem solving, creativity, critical thinking and communication.

The last 20 years has seen a rapid increase in the use of information and communication technologies, and a steady growth in Artificial Intelligence technologies. Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics subjects are increasingly important for children and young people, and their competence in these skills will have a major impact on their future employability.
We have developed free and easily accessible STEAM teacher training and educational content to foster the development of children’s curiosity, creativity, critical thinking, problem solving and communication skills.
Teacher Training
We have also developed instructional videos for educators that will help them with developing their knowledge on taking a STEAM approach in classrooms and also, with cultivating STEAM learning and thinking amongst their students.

Environmental Workshop
We have created an Environmental Workshop that includes 4 lesson plans, classroom activities and facilitation guide to support students with developing solutions that will protect their local environment. Using a STEAM approach, children will have the opportunity to practice skills such as problem solving, creativity, critical thinking and communication.

With our STEAM teacher training, you will be able to carry out the Environmental STEAM workshop and the Computational thinking that we offer for your students.

Computational Thinking Workshop

The Computational Thinking workshop is designed for students to develop computational thinking skills. At the end of the 5 sessions, children will have had the opportunity to apply key skills such as: abstraction of information, understanding of written algorithms for problem solving, pattern recognition and solution presentation.

Environmental Workshop

The Environmental workshop encourages students to think about sustainable solutions to protect their local environment. Using a STEAM framework, children practice essential skills that include problem solving, creativity, critical thinking and communication.

Teacher Training

We provide teachers with three online modules through our Learning Management System that introduce the foundations of STEAM methodology and guides teachers to successfully implement STEAM education in their classrooms.
