to propose and develop a solution for a social or educational problem as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. Join Our Latin America A Better World Steam Challenge

What is our STEAM challenge about?

We are inviting primary school children across Latin America between grade 4 and grade 8 (9 to 13 years old) to propose and develop a solution to a social or educational problem derived from the Covid-19 pandemic. See below the two topics you can choose from

Topic 1

Covid-19 has changed the way we lived and how we do things. Many people have stopped exercising or eating healthy, and for now, the safest thing is to be at home following government recommendations. There are many activities your family or friends did and enjoyed before the pandemic hit.

Question: If you could help your family or friends to resume activities they did before COVID-19, in this new COVID world, what would you do, and how would you do it?
Topic 2
Scenario 2: We know that you miss school a lot. Unfortunately, due to    the pandemic, many children like yourself have had to continue with their classes from home, using mobile phones, tablets, computers, and radios to keep learning. Still, we know that the classes are not the same as when you went to school.

Question: How do you think we could improve your and your friends’ learning and make things easier and more fun?

Please note that only children from Latin America can participate in the challenge. Interested? Head to our spanish landing page!
